What counts as a biohazard in a house clearance?
Biohazards include blood, bodily fluids, faeces, urine, vomit, sharps, needles, human or animal waste, and contaminated soft furnishings or carpets. These materials can carry pathogens such as hepatitis B and C, HIV, MRSA and C. difficile and must be handled under controlled conditions.

How do you dispose of biohazardous waste?
Biohazardous waste is double-bagged, labelled and transported by licensed carriers to approved clinical or hazardous waste facilities. You receive a hazardous waste consignment note documenting the chain of custody from collection to disposal.
Is the property safe to enter afterwards?
Yes. Once decontamination is complete and the required dwell time has passed, the property is safe for normal occupation. We provide a written record of the work carried out and the waste removed so insurers, landlords and solicitors can close the file.
Do you work with insurance companies?
Yes. We regularly provide itemised quotations, before-and-after photographs, waste documentation and completion reports for insurance claims, loss adjusters and legal representatives.
What happens to personal documents and valuables?
Where it is safe to do so, we set aside important documents, keys, mobile phones, photo albums, military medals and other items you ask us to look for. Items of apparent value are photographed and reported to you. We do not provide formal valuation, auction or resale services.

What documentation do you provide?
